Charmy kaur (born may 17, 1987) is a south indian actress. She acted with stars such as simbu, venkatesh, akkineni nagarjuna, prabhas, siddarth, ravi teja, sumanth, nitin, and jr. Ntr.
Charmi was only 14 when she appeared in her first film, nee thodu kaavali (telugu, 2002). This film was a big flop, but helped charmi draw attention to the film industry in south india. His next film was kadal azhavatillai (tamil) which was a success. After that she acted in a few tamil films but failed at the box office.
His re-entry to telugu movies happened with sri anjaneyam, directed by ace director krishna vamsi. This was also a failed attempt. It was followed by another failure with chanti, paired with ravi teja. Finally got a big jump in telugu with gowri in which he combines with sumanth. She did not have to look back later. The tremendous success of mass with nagarjuna strengthened her position in tollywood.
His recent film, pournami, was a failure, but his performance was appreciated. Although he did not learn classical dance south india, her bharata natyam and kuchipudi dances in the film were appreciated by the public.
Charmi's latest film of chinnodu is declared a safe-player in the locker. His next film is to release rakhi, which is hitting the screen for christmas 2006. Another film, mantra, a thriller with charmi in the lead role, is currently in pre-production.
